One of my projects this year is knitting a temperature blanket. One row of stitch based on the high temperature each day. I only chose seven colors to represent the temperature range. I’ve already thought about adding another color for rainy, snowy or exceptionally sunny days but that will have to wait for next year’s blanket. My husband also suggested working in five degree ranges and expanding the number of colors as well. Isn’t it funny that I am already planning next year’s blanket? So far I’ve managed to keep up but it’s only been just over two weeks…
I’m also working on a simple little blanket for a niece that is nearly complete. Each of the kids also want me to make them a blanket. I would also like to learn some lace stitches and how to add beads to my work.
This years blanket:
Cast on 250 stitches, then alternate rows of knit and perl based on high temperature of my location each day.

Thanks but I am still learning. But even if I sucked I would still knit since it helps me with anxiety.
