I was tagged by my sweet friend at Camie’s Cozy Corner. I just adore her and absolutely cannot wait to meet her later this year!!! With this tag I am supposed to answer a few questions and then tag a few bloggers I enjoy. So here goes:

I just got home from work, my family is having a great time at the University of Kentucky game at Rupp tonight…so I am home alone! I decided to relax with a cocktail tonight while writing this up. You’ve been warned…

Question 1. How tall are you? 

Umm…sixty inches or so. Maybe sixty-one? Something close to that or in-between.

Question 2. Do you have a hidden talent?

Well I wouldn’t know since it is hidden.

Question 3. What’s your biggest blog related pet peeve?

I have no pet peeves about blogs. Everyone should be able to express themselves in their own personal manner.

Question 4. What’s your biggest non blog related pet peeve?

People who refuse to learn or better themselves because they are lazy. I believe in working to get ahead not living off of taxpayers. I am from Eastern Kentucky and I have seen what living that way does to generations of people.

Question 5. What’s your favorite song?

Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Question 6. What’s your favorite social media?

Blogs I suppose. I detest Facebook these days because it is so politically correct. I like the homeschooling and poetry communities on Instagram.

Question 7. What’s your favorite way to spend your time alone?

Knitting or watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. Blogging is best done alone too.

Question 8. What’s your favorite junk food?

Grippos BBQ chips

Question 9. Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?

My daughter has a cat named Boots. We also have two lop eared miniature bunnies named Monty and Polly.

Question 10. What are your number one favorite fiction and non-fiction books?

I love all books and it is hard for me to choose. I love Benjamin West and His Cat Grimalkin. The Life of the World to Come was really enjoyable too. I love books by Dan Brown! As for non-fiction, Van Gogh: The Life was really good and Adventures in Being Human was fascinating. I also really enjoyed The Rarest Bird in the World.

Soap

Question 12. When were you last embarrassed? What happened?

Tonight at work. I asked a customer if they lived in the Kroger zip code…In my defense we were slammed tonight.

Question 13. If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Red, red wine!

Question 14. What’s your favorite movie?

Hmmm…that is a hard one. I like Road House, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Die Hard (Alan Rickman…ooo-la-la!) I also love anything with Brent Spiner because…well…I just like to look at him.

Question 15. What was your favorite lesson/subject at school?

history and algebra

Question 16. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?

I do not care so long as I am with my husband. He is my world!!!

PC

Question 18. What was the last romantic gesture from a crush/boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse? (Or a kind gesture from a friend.)

My husband ran a bath for me and heated up the bathroom too. He lit a candle and put on some relaxing music for me. He is the best.

Alan Rickman and Brent Spiner

Question 20. Which blogger do you secretly want to be best friends with?

I am already besties with Camie!!!!

Question 21. Who is your biggest inspiration?

My husband inspires me to be the best person I can be. I would be nothing without him.

Question 22. What is your favorite blog to read?

I like so many blogs. I love to read about real people and their lives. I couldn’t possibly choose…people are interesting to me.

Kentucky Coffeetree Café in Frankfort Kentucky

Question 24. Are you in education or do you work?

Both!!!

Question 25. What is one thing you are proud of?

I love being a mom and homeschooling my kids. I am proud of my kids. I am also very proud of my husband. He is so smart and amazing and I cannot believe he chose me because I am such a mess.
